Qualifications:
- Currently attending Middlesex Community College, part time, and working toward an
Associates Degree in Fine Arts/Graphic Design. I have one class and an internship left to
complete, to fulfill my degree requirements. I have maintained an A average, am a
member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, and have made the Dean's List multiple
times.
- Formal instruction in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and currently enrolled
in a Web Design (Dreamweaver) class. I have also used QuarkXpress, MS Word, Excel,
Acrobat, File Maker Pro, iPhoto, and Photofinish in various projects. I am comfortable
with either Macintosh or Windows operating systems.
- Currently, working full time at Hospital for Special Care, in New Britain, CT, where my
title is HIM Release of Information Coordinator. Employed at Hospital for Special Care
for twenty three years (hired Sept. 1985).
Until January 17, 2008, I was employed part time at Liturgical Publications, Inc., in
Cromwell, Connecticut. Sadly, after working in the production department as a
scanner/retoucher for close to four years, I had to resign from LPI to continue with my
education.

Familiar with the internet and use it frequently as a resource for work, research, and at
home for personal enjoyment.
Relevant Experience:
- Graphic Design Student at Middlesex Community College with coursework nearly
completed. Graduation target: Spring of 2009.
Scanner/Retoucher in the Production/Keyline Department at Liturgical Publications,
Inc., Cromwell, CT. Duties: scanning church bulletins, retouching, and preparing them
for press. I also did some proofreading and collating. Applications used: Photoshop
(Elements); Microsoft Word; Adobe Acrobat; and Filemaker Pro.
Other Experience and Skills:

In addition to design, I have a passion for illustration and photography. I have one CD
package design project that has gone to print and have also published some of my
